Up for sale is a set of 5 New Samsung home theater surround sound speakers. They all have a 3 Ohm Impedance. They come with black stands that match the speakers.
These were made for use with the Samsung HT-WZ410T and HT-WZ412T home theater systems but they are discontinued. They will work with any dvd player/receiver that accepts speaker wire like these take!!

I would be plugging a PS3 and PC both via seperate HDMI connectors into the TV, then I looked-for to output it all into a 5.1 system from the TV via the TV’s digital optical audio output. I would be using a 5.1 system which take a digital optical audio input, such as the Logitech Z-5500. I have hear that on other TV’s it only outputs at 2.0 via its digital optical audio output, not 5.1 surround, can anyone confirm or deny 5.1 near this TV set? Thanks in finance!

Denon avr 888 vs yamaha rxv 663?
Iam lookin for an audiophilist help, ok okay this is the story. I bought the Denon Avr 888 From Dakmart and was deeply excited for it to arrive but when it arrived it wouldn’t power it up, so i contacted dakmart and they said they would contact denon because it was still beneath warrenty and denons refurbisher united radio would fix it. i be cool with that so i have to wait for and ups shipping lable email bought it took a week for me to acquire it so i got a touch upset and told the guy at dakmart i would like a repayment, he said fine he needed to contact united radio to hold them ship the unit to dakmart and they would reimbursement me, so in the aim time i went out and found the yamaha rxv 663. so to bring in a long story short i got the yamaha dakmart didn’t contact fused radio in time and the denon is person sent back to me. so my press is which is a better built reciever, i like the adjectives proofing of the yamaha with decodin of dts hd and dobly hd but i am running a ps3 so i am not really using it. i resembling the idea of the presence speakers event though i havn’t tried it on the other hand. now for the denon sense it be broke when i first recieved it i havnt had time to audition it but i close to the idea audyessey and i am assunming the video up conversion is better on the denon because it have the dcdi chip compared to what ever chip yamaha uses. so which is a better build, which gives better nouns, basicly which one should i keep and which one should i bring back, they cost me alike amount of money 450.00

At Best Buy I was only just looking at their cabling when I notice something. On the back of one of their subwoofers, instead of using a “Digital Coaxial” cable they be using the green plug on a component video cord to hook their BD player to their AV Receiver. A guy there told me they be the same item actually. I other thought it was funny that they used like peas in a pod connectors. I knew component be different from composite video (one video transfer lane compared to three, the sense for three plugs), but is a digital coax cable really the same as a component video cable?

Bose SoundLink Wireless Music System

Bose recently introduced the ridiculously-priced SoundLink Wireless Music System, a portable speaker system that allows you to play music straight from the computer without the need of putting wires around.

Notorious for not providing detailed specifications, Bose could only go as far as claiming that the SoundLink system is designed “as a simple solution for people who listen to to music stored on their computer, but don’t want to be at their computer to enjoy it.”  Simply plug the SoundLink USB key into the computer, select your music source (whether it’s from iTunes, Pandora, or any other Internet radio), and the audio would stream to the speaker system through a long-range wireless link that can even work through walls and floors, without the need of any additional software and even WiFi connection.

The SoundLink system runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, while being charged by the system’s AC power supply, eliminating the need for any electric outlet.  The battery can run for up to three hours when played in high volume.  Its infrared remote control operates the SoundLink’s power and volume and can even control commands to most applications.  This system also features an auxiliary input for connection additional audio sources, including iPod, iPhone, MP3 players, and even CD players.

The SoundLink Wireless Music System will be available at authorized Bose dealers and retails stores beginning late August 2009 for 9.95.  But then again, you can always opt for other sound equipment that can offer almost the same features, with high-quality sound, at one-tenth of the price.
